In this session we will take a deep dive into how interoperability works, covering features such as Media Bypass (with reference to CAC), Trunk to Trunk routing, M to N Mediation Servers and Number translation. To demonstrate how these features work in the real world we will set up interoperating between Lync and Cisco Call Managers in front of your very eyes.

See the new archiving features in Lync Server 2013 that allow for an improved deployment and operational efficiency in achieving compliance goals. We'll discuss step-by-step the integration options when using SQL for the data storage, as well as the new capabilities of using Exchange Server 2013 for storage. We’ll demonstrate the capabilities of federated Search when Exchange 2013 and SharePoint 2013 are deployed together. We’ll also discuss and demonstrate the archiving options when leveraging Lync Server 2013 Persistent Chat. Included in this session will be notes from the field and tips-n-tricks on a successful deployment of the archiving feature.
