Vikings: War of Clans is a robust Vikings themed MMO game set in Medieval Scandinavian times and it focuses heavily on the social interaction between players. In this game players need to work together and channel their efforts in the same direction within their own clan where a strict hierarchy exists, the highest position being that of a chief. Everyone has the same objective which is to capture the Place of Power (or PoP how players call it) and in order to do this, players are required to build an army, and this has a cost in resources: iron, wood, stone, gold, and silver. These resources are obtained by creating resource gathering buildings, but the game also offers the possibility of attacking resource locations under the safeguard of other players.

A single clan can house up to 100 players at a time and it is highly customizable, a specific shield can be designed, a set of rules can be created, and all add up to generating a unique management structure for the entire clan. A clan helps players evolve faster, capture Places of Power and members can participate in collective events too, this game can become very addictive really fast.

The developers of this game have spent a huge amount of time on collecting accurate information on the Scandinavian Viking medieval times and on gathering information on how the life was back then. Well-built, well-designed and very addictive, Viking: War of Clans receive our top spot on the chart.

Age of Empires: Castle Siege

Age of Empires: Castle Siege
Age of Empires: Castle Siege
  • Developed by Smoking Guns Interactive
  • Available on PC, Windows Phone, iOS and Android
  • Price: Free to play and with in-game purchases

Age of Empires: Castle Siege comes very close to the original Age of Empires which, by now, has managed to age quite beautifully and it’s a nice Clash of Clans clone, graphics look very good and there is a sense of reward when you finish building your castle, and unlike Clash of Clans, here you can actually control your troops so this is a huge plus for the effort of the developers.

We recommend giving it a try because until Age of Empires 4 arrives this game will have to satisfy your itch.

To put this short Star Wars: Commander is what you get when you combine Clash of Clans with the Star Wars universe and the result is very impressive. This game puts more emphasis on battles than on building your settlement. It also offers you the option of choosing between the Rebels and the Empire, which is a huge plus. These two factions are equally balanced in both power and strategy, and both of them bring some of your beloved characters such as Han Solo and Chewie. This game also has a solid single player campaign which is a great plus.
